Hi there, and thank ya for visiting my blog. This is my fist ever blog site so dont be too judgmental if i get it all wrong. Although I have owned three legged dogs in the past (I even at one time had a dog with just two functional legs) all of my current dogs have 4 fully functional legs (please dont hold this against me). I joined tripawds while in search of a home for a great dane I am fostering named Drew.

Drew is having some issues with his back left leg and my vet was talking to me about a possible amputation, so in my quest to find him a home with a family that could handle a giant clumsy three legged dog i found tripawds.com. Now Drew has been doing well lately and and actually putting weight on that back leg so the chances of him becoming and amputee is getting slimmer, but I have decided to try to stay apart of this community because of all the connections that I have noticed. All the tripawds members that I have met since being here have a very strong love for their animals, as well as the animals belonging to other people, and they also seem to have a big place in their heart for other caring animal owners.
